The Hosts
The Sharkpod is hosted by brothers in-law Mark Baker and Luke Curry. Brought to you every Wednesday from Greystones studios in the lovely county Wicklow, Ireland. For the past two decades Mark and Luke have been discussing all things business, entrepreneurship, mind, body and health. In January 2020 they decided to take these late night musings and hit the record button. With the addition of some great guests doing great things in Ireland, the Sharkpod was born.

Hailing from Shankill in Dublin, Mark is a Chartered Accountant, Artist, and Recruitment Entrepreneur.
Mark started his career as an accountant with Deloitte Dublin before transitioning from a career in Financial Services to Finance Recruitment setting up Darwin Hawkins Finance Recruitment in 2018. The company is backed by James Caan CBE (former BBC Dragon).
As a well-known artist Mark exhibits his paintings globally and is represented in Ireland by the Green Gallery St. Stephen's Green. Mark’s work has proven popular with many high profile figures, with Steven Spielberg, Daniel Day Lewis, and US President Barack Obama all being owners of his work.
In 2021 Mark wrote his first book 'The Best Man Speech Guidebook' which is available on Amazon!

Born in Canada, Luke grew up in South Dublin. He is a Sales expert who has sold software in over 15 countries,
Luke has a background in investment banking and is an active financial trader and investor. He currently builds sales channels for a major multinational SaaS company in Dublin and works with partners from Dubai to Spain.
He is interested in travel and adventure and has visited 40+ countries. He lives in Greystones, Co. Wicklow with his young family and spends free time triathlon training or learning to speak Irish!
